On

points scored by each country in brackets.
With almost 300 entries, this was one of the
biggest Top 5 predictions received in the long history of the
competition. It was also the most difficult contests with 42 entries
to choose from, and the fact that during the run up to the contest,
four different countries wre favourite, with Sweden then
Switzerland, the Serbia and finally Ukraine taking over as the
bookmakers' choice.
In the end Serbia won the contest and
considering that two thirds of predictions had the Serbian entry in
the Top 5, this was where most points were earned. The biggest
points loser was Switzerland. Almost half the predictions had DJ
Bobo and "Vampires Are Alive" in the top 5, and since it didn't
eve qualify from the semi-final
it earned no points.
Other songs that had a high number of Top 5
predictions, but didn't earn any points after failingto qualify for
the final were Cyprus, Malta, Denmark and Israel.
